Sun spots are something many of us deal with as we get older. Laser sun spot removal can achieve amazing results. Sun spots are caused by excessive sun exposure over time, causing the melanocytes to over produce melanin. Alex lasers and IPL devices are capable of breaking down the melanin, reducing the appearance. As with any laser procedure it is important to protect any treated area after a procedure from the sun. SPF 30 to 50 sunscreen or complete coverage is important to reduce the risk of side effects.
